The story of HUDA Hospital began with one doctor, one small clinic, and one promise.
In the heart of rural Karnataka, where roads are long, resources are scarce, and hope sometimes feels even further away, one doctor dared to make a difference.
Dr. Saddam Hussain S., a physician born and raised in the humble village of Yeragera, knew firsthand the struggles his community faced — people travelling miles for basic medical care, falling prey to unqualified quacks, and suffering in silence simply because they didn’t know where to turn. He understood that for rural communities, the greatest barrier to good health isn’t just disease — it’s distance, poverty, and lack of awareness.
Driven by compassion and a deep sense of responsibility towards his people, Dr. Saddam took a bold step. He opened a small clinic in 2019 and called it HUDA Healthcare — meaning guidance — because that is exactly what he set out to offer: a guiding hand towards proper, dignified, and affordable healthcare for those who needed it most.
What began as a single room with a single doctor has grown — through dedication, the trust of thousands of patients, and the unwavering support of the community — into a fully operational 24×7 multispeciality hospital.
